Booking with a small-ship cruise specialist shouldn't cost you more.
If you find a lower publicly available price for the same cruise before paying your deposit, send us the details. Once the offer has been verified and confirmed as comparable, Cruise Smaller will match that price and beat it by $25 per booking.
How the Best Price Promise works
To qualify, the competing offer must be for:
- The same cruise operator
- The same ship
- The same sailing date
- The same itinerary
- The same cabin category
- The same number and type of passengers
- The same cabin occupancy
- The same fare type
- The same inclusions
- The same currency
- The same taxes, port charges, fees and mandatory charges
- The same deposit requirements
- The same payment schedule
- The same amendment conditions
- The same cancellation conditions
- A price that is publicly available
- A price that can be independently verified by Cruise Smaller
- An offer that remains available when Cruise Smaller verifies the request
- An offer from the cruise operator or an authorised travel retailer
The total comparable booking price should be used rather than only the advertised headline fare.
When the Best Price Promise does not apply
The Best Price Promise does not apply to:
- Loyalty or membership prices
- Past-passenger prices
- Group or corporate rates
- Privately negotiated prices
- Travel-industry or travel-agent-only rates
- Staff or friends-and-family rates
- Closed-user-group offers
- Cashback offers
- Gift cards
- Credit card rewards
- Loyalty points
- Third-party rewards
- Pricing or website errors
- Offers that are not available to the general public
- Offers that are no longer available when verified
- Different cabin categories
- Different fare types
- Offers with different inclusions
- Offers with different deposit requirements
- Offers with different payment conditions
- Offers with different amendment or cancellation conditions
- Offers that require the cruise to be bundled with flights, accommodation or another product
- Offers from unauthorised sellers
- Prices or promotions released after the Cruise Smaller deposit has been paid
How to make a request
A Best Price Promise request must be submitted before the customer pays their Cruise Smaller deposit.
The customer must provide evidence of the competing offer, such as:
- A live website link
- A screenshot
- A written quotation
- The applicable fare and booking conditions
- The date and time the competing offer was found
The competing price must remain available when Cruise Smaller verifies the request.
Once approved, the Cruise Smaller booking price will be reduced to $25 below the verified comparable booking price.
The additional $25 reduction applies once per booking, not per passenger, cabin or component of the booking.
Cruise Smaller will assess whether the two offers are genuinely comparable based on the total price, cruise, sailing, cabin, fare type, inclusions and booking conditions.
