5. Cruise Smaller Use of Partner Content
For ordinary public content that tags, mentions or promotes Cruise Smaller, the partner grants Cruise Smaller a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence during the partnership and for 24 months afterward to repost, share, display, embed, crop, resize, reformat, add captions, use on the Cruise Smaller website, use in email marketing, use on organic social channels, and use in internal presentations and partner reporting.
For content specifically commissioned by Cruise Smaller, created under a paid campaign brief, submitted directly for promotional use, or created during a hosted or familiarisation experience, the applicable campaign agreement may provide broader rights including paid advertising, boosting, supplier sharing, sublicensing and longer-term usage.
Paid-advertising rights for ordinary independently created partner content require either express acceptance in the relevant campaign brief or separate written approval.
Partners warrant that they created or lawfully control the content, have permission from identifiable people, have rights to music, photographs, footage and other materials, that Cruise Smaller’s permitted use will not infringe third-party rights, and that required advertising disclosures have been made.
6. Advertising Disclosure
Partners must clearly and prominently disclose their commercial relationship with Cruise Smaller using wording such as “Paid Partnership”, “Paid Promotion”, “Ad”, “Advertising”, or “Affiliate partnership” where the financial nature is otherwise made obvious. Vague disclosure wording that could confuse consumers is not permitted. Where a platform offers a branded-content or paid-partnership tool, partners should use that tool where applicable.
7. Accuracy
Partners must ensure that claims are accurate, prices are current, availability is not guaranteed unless confirmed, offers are not misrepresented, personal experiences are honestly described, reviews reflect genuine opinions, and supplied product information is not materially altered.
8. Confidentiality
Partners must keep confidential all private reward rates, customer-benefit arrangements, sales information, conversion information, customer information, supplier terms, campaign plans, unreleased offers and internal platform information. Partners must not publicly disclose their private commercial terms unless required by law. This confidentiality requirement does not remove their obligation to disclose that a commercial relationship exists.
9. Customer Privacy
Partners must not download or retain customer personal information from the dashboard, contact referred customers outside authorised activities, sell or share referral information, use customer information for another purpose, or attempt to identify anonymised dashboard users.
10. Disputes and Administrative Decisions
Cruise Smaller maintains an internal referral-dispute process. Partners may submit a referral query through the dashboard including the referral ID, customer initials, approximate referral date and supporting information. Cruise Smaller will review its tracking records, customer records, booking information, first-click attribution, audit logs and eligibility rules. Cruise Smaller’s determination is final, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
